Nick Underhill reports that the Saints are bringing in free agent CB Tharold Simon for a workout on Friday.
Simon, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2013. The Seahawks waived him a few weeks into the 2016 regular season and was later claimed off of waivers by the Cardinals. Arizona later waived him and he eventually signed a futures deal with the Redskins after the season.
While Simon has shown some ability in the past, he’s dealt with numerous injuries since entering the NFL, which has led to him appearing in just 20 total games.
In 2016, Simon appeared in nine games and recorded six tackles and no interceptions.
