Seahawks Cut 10 Players Including DL D’Anthony Smith

The Seattle Seahawks announced the release of 10 players on Monday, as they work to trim their roster down to 75 players.

The list of players either released or placed on waivers includes:

Smith, 27, is a former third-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2010. He was later traded to the Seahawks for a conditional draft pick that never met the required conditions.

Smith briefly played for the Lions in 2013 before re-joining the Seahawks just one month later. However, Smith didn’t play a single snap for the Seahawks last year.

Even so, Seattle elected to re-sign Smith back in March.

Since entering the league, Smith has appeared in a total of 10 games and recorded 15 total tackles.
