According to Brady Henderson, the Seahawks cut OT Elijah Nkansah from their practice squad on Saturday, which is a corresponding roster move to adding QB Cardale Jones.
The Seahawks’ practice squad now consists of:
- QB Cardale Jones
- CB Simeon Thomas
- TE Jacob Hollister
- WR Terry Wright
- WR Jazz Ferguson
- G Jordan Roos
- G Kahlil McKenzie
- G/C Kyle Fuller
- S Ryan Neal
- DE Jachai Polite
Nkansah, 24, signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo back in May of last year. He was among Seattle’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and signed onto their practice squad once he passed through waivers unclaimed.
Seattle cut him, once again, as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit this preseason and signed him to their practice squad once passing through waivers unclaimed.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
