According to Aaron Wilson, Seahawks DE Marcus Webb reverted to the team’s injured reserve on Thursday after recently being waived with an injury designation.
Webb, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Troy back in 2020. He later signed a rookie contract with the Seahawks.
Seattle waived Webb with a non-football injury designation during training camp last year. The Seahawks re-signed him to a one-year contract a few weeks ago but was cut loose earlier this week.
During his college career at Troy, Webb recorded 78 tackles, 12.5 sacks, a forced fumble and a recovery over the course of 35 games and four seasons.
