Seahawks Hosting DTs Al Woods & Cam Thomas For Visits

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Seahawks are bringing in free agent defensive tackles Al Woods and Cam Thomas for visits on Friday.

Woods, 28, is a former fourth-round pick of the Saints back in 2010. However, he lasted just a few months in New Orleans before he was waived at the start of the 2010 season.

After a brief stint with the Steelers, Woods was claimed off of waivers by the Buccaneers, but his stay was once again short lived. He later signed with the Seahawks before returning to the Steelers in 2011.

The Titans elected to sign him to a contract in March of 2014.

In 2015, Woods appeared in 14 games for the Titans and recorded 22 tackles and no sacks. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 88 interior defensive lineman out of 123 qualifying players.

Thomas, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Chargers back in 2010. After four years in San Diego, Thomas signed a two-year agreement with the Steelers in 2014. He’s currently an unrestricted free agent.

In 2015, Thomas appeared 15 games for the Steelers and recorded 11 tackles.
