The Seattle Seahawks officially waived LB Emmanuel Ellerbee on Tuesday and promoted DB Kalan Reed to their active roster.
- The Seahawks also signed RB Troymaine Pope to their practice squad and released ET Tyrone Swoopes from the unit.
Here’s the Seahawks updated practice squad:
- QB Alex McGough
- WR Caleb Scott
- G Jordan Roos
- T Elijah Nkansah
- DB Simeon Thomas
- CB Kalan Reed
- WR Keenan Reynolds
- DB Justin Currie
- DB Jeremy Boykins
- RB Troymaine Pope
Reed, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Titans back in 2016. He was waived at the start of the 2016 and later signed to the Titans’ practice squad before being called up toward the end of the year.
Tennessee placed Reed on injured reserve during the preseason and later waived with an injury settlement. The Seahawks signed him to their practice squad last month.
In 2017, Reed appeared in three games and recorded a pass defense.
