Seahawks Promote Three Including DT Damon Harrison, Place CB Quinton Dunbar On IR

The Seattle Seahawks announced Thursday that they’ve placed CB Quinton Dunbar on injured reserve and promoted CB Jayson Stanley, DT Damon Harrison and RB Bo Scarbrough to their active roster.

It’s worth mentioning that the NFL changed the rules regarding injured reserve for the 2020 season and players can return from the list in just three weeks.

Harrison, 31, originally signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of William Penn back in 2012. He spent four years with the Jets before departing in free agency for a five-year, $46.25 million contract with the Giants.

The Giants later traded Harrison to the Lions. He was entering the fourth year of his five-year, $46.25 million deal when he agreed to a one-year, $11 million extension last year.

Detroit released him in February and it took until last month for him to sign on to the Seahawks’ practice squad.

In 2019, Harrison appeared in 15 games for the Lions and recorded 48 tackles, two sacks and three pass defenses.
