Seahawks Promote WR Malik Turner, Sign CB Jeremy Bokins To PS

The Seattle Seahawks announced Wednesday that they’ve promoted WR Malik Turner to their active roster.

• The Seahawks also signed CB Jeremy Boykins to their practice squad.

Turner, 22, wound up signing on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois back in July, He was in the first year of his three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Seahawks waived him coming out of the preseason.

Seattle re-signed Turner to their practice squad soon after.

During his four-year college career at Illinois, Turner caught 143 passes for 1,804 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns over the course of 40 games.
