The Seattle Seahawks announced Monday that they’ve re-signed WR Jaron Brown and placed TE Ed Dickson on injured reserve.
Brown, 29, wound up signing on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson back in 2013. He played out his rookie contract before returning to the Cardinals on a one-year restricted tender worth $1.671 million back in 2016.
The Cardinals later signed Brown to a one-year extension towards the end of the 2016 season. He later agreed to a deal with the Seahawks this past March, but wound up being released this past weekend.
In 2017, Brown appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals and caught 31 passes for 477 yards receiving and four touchdowns.
Dickson, 32, is a former third-round pick by the Ravens out of Oregon in the 2010 NFL Draft. He is entering the second year of a three-year, $10.7 million contract and is set to earn a $3.3 million base salary in 2019.
Dickson played out his three-year rookie contract in Baltimore before re-signing to a one-year deal as a restricted free agent.
He signed with the Panthers to a three-year deal in 2015 and finished out his contract with the team. Dickson signed with Seattle back in 2018.
In 2018, Dickson appeared in 10 games for the Seahawks and recorded 12 receptions for 143 yards receiving (11.9 YPC) and scored three touchdowns.
