Seahawks Signing WR Jaron Brown

Ian Rapoport reports that the Seahawks are signing former Cardinals WR Jaron Brown to a contract.

Seattle had to find a receiver to replace Paul Richardson and it looks like they settled on Brown to be that guy.

Brown, 28, wound up signing on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson back in 2013. He played out his rookie contract before returning to the Cardinals on a one-year restricted tender worth $1.671 million back in 2016.

The Cardinals later signed Brown to a one-year extension towards the end of the 2016 season and he’ was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his career.

In 2017, Brown appeared in all 16 games for the Cardinals and caught 31 passes for 477 yards receiving and four touchdowns.

We had him featured in our Top 50 Available 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
