Adam Schefter reports that the Seahawks waived fourth-round WR Gary Jennings Jr. on Wednesday.
Bob Condotta of the Seattle Times confirmed the news that Jennings is, in fact, cut from Seattle’s active roster.
Jennings, 22, was drafted by the Seahawks out of West Virginia in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year rookie deal worth $3,230,930 with a $710,930 signing bonus.
He has yet to record an NFL stat. The Seahawks will be eligible to sign him to their practice squad if he passes through waivers unclaimed.
During his four-year college career, Jennings caught 168 passes for 2294 yards (13.7 YPC) and 17 touchdowns in 45 games.
