The Seattle Seahawks announced Friday that they’ve waived DE Nate Orchard to make room for newly signed DE Ziggy Ansah.
Orchard, 26, is a former second-round pick of the Browns back in 2015. He was in the final year of his four-year, $4.466 million contract when the Browns elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason last year.
Orchard had a brief stint with the Bills before signing on with the Chiefs. Unfortunately, Kansas City waived him a month later and he eventually signed on with the Seahawks last month.
In 2018, Orchard appeared in four games for the Bills and Chiefs and recorded four tackles, no sacks and a pass defense.
