The Seattle Seahawks officially waived LB Emmanuel Ellerbee with an injury designation on Saturday.
Should Ellerbe clear waivers on Monday, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list.
Ellerbee, 23, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Rice back in 2018. He was among Atlanta’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and was claimed off waivers by the Chargers.
Los Angeles elected to cut him loose in October and was claimed by the Seahawks. Seattle brought him back on a renegotiated deal this past March.
In 2018, Ellerbee appeared in seven games but has not recorded any statistics.
