The Seattle Seahawks officially waived LB Emmanuel Ellerbee on Monday to make room for LB Mychal Kendricks, who has been reinstated from suspension.
Ellerbee, 21, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Rice back in May. He was among Atlanta’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and was claimed off waivers by the Chargers.
Los Angeles elected to cut him loose in October and was claimed by the Seahawks to their active roster. Seattle later waived him and he’s been on and off of their active roster this season.
In 2018, Ellerbee has appeared in five games but has not recorded any statistics.
