Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Seahawks worked out free agent RBs Alex Collins and Roc Thomas on Monday.
The Seahawks also worked out Tanner Lee, Marcus Simms, and Jaylen Smith.
This comes less than a week after the Seahawks re-signed Marshawn Lynch and Robert Turbin.
Collins, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2016. He was entering the second year of his four-year, $2.566 million contract that included a $184,384 signing bonus when he was cut loose by the Seahawks at the start of the 2017 season.
Collins signed on to the Ravens’ practice squad a few days later and was eventually promoted to their active roster. The Ravens brought him back on an exclusive rights contract last year but was released back in March following an arrest and received a three-game suspension by the NFL.
He was officially reinstated from suspension last month.
In 2018, Collins appeared in 10 games and rushed for 411 yards on 114 carries (3.6 YPC) to go along with 15 receptions for 105 yards receiving and eight total touchdowns.
