Seattle Puts Houshmandzadeh On The Trading Block

NFL Network’s Jason La Canfora has reported that the Seattle Seahawks have placed T.J. Houshmandzadeh on the trading block and suggests that the team will have a hard time trading him given that he is due to make $7 million guaranteed this season.

Judd Zulgad of the Minneapolis Star-Tribune chimed in on the situation by adding that the Vikings would rather clear cap space for Vincent Jackson rather than take on Houshmandzadeh salary.

“I can’t control it,” Houshmandzadeh commented after Thursday’s game.  “I’m the type of dude where it doesn’t bother me because I can’t control it, but it does bother me because nobody said anything to me, and nobody has said anything to me.”

Depending on how the Seahawks handle this situation they could have a disgruntled wide receiver on their hands.
