Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that there are several teams doing extra work on FIU QB James Morgan including the Packers, Patriots, Bears, Colts, Raiders, Giants, Bills, Jets and Dolphins.
The Texans met with Morgan at the East-West Shrine game.
Wilson notes that Morgan has drawn comparisons from scouts to Kirk Cousins and Joe Flacco.
Morgan originally began his college career at Bowling Green before transferring to Florida International for the 2018 season. He figures to be an interesting quarterback prospect to watch in this year’s draft based on the buzz he’s generated in the past few months.
In total, Morgan threw for 8,654 yards while completing 57.2 percent of his passes for to go along with 65 touchdowns and 34 interceptions over the course of four seasons and 42 games.
