According to Tony Pauline, six NFL teams were on hand for Oregon State DE/OLB Bright Ugwoegbu’s workout on Thursday including the Packers, Seahawks, Patriots, Saints, Bears and 49ers.
Pauline reports that Ugwoegbu’s workout results were:
- Height/Weight: 6007/205lbs
- 40-yard dash: 4.97s
- Vertical Jump: 33
- Broad Jump: 9-6
- Short shuttle: 4.7s
- 3-cone: 7.38s
Ugwoegbu is one of four players eligible to be selected this year along with Western Michigan CB Sam Beal, Mississippi State DB Brandon Bryant and Virginia Tech CB Adonis Alexander.
The Supplemental draft will be held on July 11.
According to reports, Ugwoegbu was suspended indefinitely by new Oregon State HC Jonathan Smith for an undisclosed violation.
During his three-year college career at Oregon State, Ugwoegbu recorded 126 tackles, 17.5 tackles for a loss, eight sacks, a forced fumble, three recoveries and four pass defenses over the course of 27 games.
