The Pittsburgh Steelers announced Tuesday that they’veย activated CB Cameron Sutton from the injured reserve list.
Theย Steelers officially designed Sutton to return a few weeks ago, which opened a three-week window of time for him to be activated.
Sutton, 22, was selected by the Steelers in the third round of this year’s draft. He signed a four-year contract worth $3,126,128, which includes a signing bonus of $736,128ย and stands to make a base salary ofย $465,000 for the 2017 season.
Unfortunately, the Steelers placed Sutton on injured reserve coming out of the preseason.
During his four-year college career at Tennessee, ย Sutton recordedย 127 total tackles, 13 tackles for loss, one sack, seven interceptions, 30 pass defenses, two fumble recoveries, three forced fumbles, and scored one defensive touchdown.
