The Pittsburgh Steelers officially placed CB Antonio Crawford on the injured reserve list Friday after he passed through waivers unclaimed.
Crawford wound up going undrafted out of West Virginia back in May. The Steelers just signed him to a contract on Wednesday but cut him loose a day later with an injury designation.
You can expect Pittsburgh to waive him from injured reserve once he’s healthy.
During his college career at Miami and West Virginia, Crawford recorded 80 tackles, one sack, an interception, a forced fumble, a recovery and 14 pass defenses over the course of 30 games.
