The Pittsburgh Steelers have placed starting LTย Kelvin Beachum on season-ending injured reserve on Monday after he suffered a torn ACL, per Bob Labriola.
- The Steelers signed OT Byron Stingily to a contract to placeย Beachum.
Beachum, 26, had to be carted off the field with a left knee injury, and it appeared as though it was a serious injury. He is in the final year of his four-year, $2.146 million rookie contract, which includes a base salary ofย $1.542 million.
This season,ย Beachum has appeared in all fiveย games for the Steelers and is rated byย Pro Football Focus as the No. 21ย offensive tackleย out of 75ย qualifying players.
Stingily, 27, is a former sixth-round pick of the Titans back in 2011. He played out his four-year, $2,150,500 rookie contract with the Titans before signing a two-year deal with the team back in March.
However,ย Stingily was among their final roster cuts.
In 2014, Stingily appeared in 10 games for Tennessee.ย Pro Football Focusย has himย down for playingย 248 snaps last season.
