Steelers C B.J. Finney officially signed his one-year restricted tender on Tuesday.
This will cost the Steelers $3.095 million for the 2019 season.
Finney, 27, wound up signing on with the Steeler as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State back in 2015. He was, unfortunately, waived at the start of the 2015 season and later signed to the Steelers’ practice squad.
Pittsburgh brought Finney back on an exclusive rights contract last year before using a second-round restricted tender on him last month.
In 2018, Finney was active for all 16 games for the Steelers and played 164 total snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
