Hunter was later claimed by the Bills claimed a few weeks into the 2016 season.
Hunter played out theย in the final year of his four-year, $5.424 million rookie contract before returning to the Steelers last year on a one-year deal.
In 2017, Hunter appeared in seven games for the Steelers and caught four passes for 23 yards receiving and one touchdown.
