Steelers Sign LB Jamir Jones To One-Year Deal

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced that they are signing LB Jamir Jones to a one-year contract on Wednesday. 

Jones, 23, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Notre Dame back in April of last year but was cut loose after a few months. This is his first reported interest since becoming an unrestricted free agent. 

 During his three-year college career, Jones recorded 38 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, one pass defense, one fumble recovery, and two forced fumbles.
