Steelers Sign OT Ryan Harris To A Two-Year, $3.9M Deal

Troy Renck of the Denver Post reports that the Steelers have signed OT Ryan Harris to a two-year, $3.9 million deal.

This is an interesting move for the Steelers, seeing as they have met with a number of offensive tackles including Russell Okung and Kelvin Benjamin about contracts.

This move will likely take them out of the running for any of the remaining offensive tackles.

Harris, 30, is a former third-round pick of the Broncos back in 2007. He played out his rookie contract with the Broncos before signing on with the Eagles in 2011. Since then, he’s traveled around to the Texans and Chiefs before returning to the Broncos on a one-year deal last May.

In 2015, Harris was active for all 16 games for the Broncos and was rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 53 offensive tackle out of 77 qualifying players.

  1. Strange moves by steelers, If I am a DT or LT in this draft I would not want to go to the steelers.
They wont pay for a LT or a NT.
