The Pittsburgh Steelers officially waived DB Alexander Myres from injured reserve with a settlement on Thursday.
Myres, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Houston back in May. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Steelers.
However, Myres was waived with an injury designation and later reverted to the Steelers’ injured reserve.
During his college career at Houston, Myres recorded 98 tackles, two interceptions, 12 pass defenses and a fumble recovery over the course of three seasons and 24 games.
