The Pittsburgh Steelers officially waived OT Brian Mihalik from their injured reserve list on Friday with an injury settlement.
Mihalik, 23, is a former seventh-round pick of the Eagles back in 2015. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason last year, but later signed on to the Eagles’ practice squad.
Philadelphia eventually waived him from their taxi squad with an injury settlement. Mihalik would later sign a future/reserve contract with the Steelers. However, he was waived with the injury designation and later placed on injured reserve after clearing waivers.
Mihalik has yet to appear in an NFL game.
