The Pittsburgh Steelers officially waived TE Mandel Dixon from injured reserve on Thursday.
Dixon, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Florida International back in May before signing a contract with the Steelers in July. Unfortunately, the Steelers waived him with an injury designation close to a month ago and later reverted to their injured reserve.
During his senior season at Tulsa, Dixon caught four passes for 29 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
