ESPN’s Adam Schefter tweets that Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger is a “true game-time decision” for tonight’s game against the San Francisco 49ers.
Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin said that he was ”optimistic” that Roethlisberger will play.
Baltimore’s loss last night opens the door for the Steelers to secure a first-round bye and win tonight would put them in the drivers seat. Still if Roethlisberger’s ankle is an issue, the team may sit him and take their chances with Charlie Batch and Dennis Dixon.
