Jason LaCanfora tweets that he keeps hearing that NFL team’s are seriously considering making the move up for Mississippi State DT Fletcher Cox, who many view as the best player at a deep position.
La Canfora even goes as far to suggest that someone could actually move all the way up to #5 overall which is currently held by the Buccaneers.
It’s hard to who would be considering such a move, as the Panthers are the only logical team that could reasonably afford to trade up to #5. Yes, someone could always part with a package of picks to get him, but that seems unlikely. Cox will most likely be the first DT off the board on Thursday.
