According to Mike Garafolo, the Texans are scheduled to host free agent CB Orlando Scandrick for a visit on Monday.
Scandrick, 32, is a former fifth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2008. He was in the fourth year of his five-year, $20 million contract and set to make base salaries of $3 million and $4 million over the final two years of the agreement when the Cowboys designated him as a post-June 1 release in 2018.
The Redskins signed Scandrick to a two-year contract that included $1 million guaranteed only to release him in August. Scandrick later signed a one-year deal with the Chiefs and finished out the year in Kansas City.
Scandrick joined the Eagles in July only to be released coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Scandrick appeared in 15 games for the Chiefs and recorded 44 total tackles, one forced fumble, one interception and 13 pass defenses.
