The Houston Texans announced that they have claimed DL Tracy Sprinkle off of waivers from the Browns and waived OLB Chris Landrum with an injury designation.

Sprinkle, 22, originally signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of Ohio State back in April of last year. He was among Carolina’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.
The Browns signed Sprinkle to a contract but waived him in less than a week.
He has yet to appear in an NFL game.
During his two-year college career at Ohio State, Sprinkle recorded 20 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, no sacks, one pass defense, and one fumble recovery.
