Texans head coach Gary Kubiak mentioned that DE J.J. Watt could be out for the rest of the preseason after he dislocated his elbow during Thursday’s practice.
“I’m trying to smile,” said Kubiak, via HoustonTexans.com. “I’m concerned until we go find out what’s going on.”
Watt was carted off the field, but thankfully for the Texans, the injury is not believed to be very serious. Watt added that he expects to be ready for the start of the season, but there’s really no guarantees at this point in time.
