Aaron Wilson, citing a league source, reports that the Texans are expected to sign LB Tyrell Adams to a one-year contract at the start of the free agency signing period.
Adams, 27, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of West Georgia back in May of 2015. He had brief stints with the Chiefs, Raiders, Bills, Colts and Texans before signing on with the 49ers in 2018.
The Texans later signed Adams and he was on and off of their to their active roster last year.
In 2019, Adams has appeared in five games for the Texans and recorded 13 tackles and a forced fumble.
