Texans first-round OT Tytus Howard went down with a left knee injury during the third quarter of Sunday’s game against the Chiefs.
Howard was clearly in a great deal of pain and had to be taken off the field on a cart.
Roderick Johnson has replaced Tytus Howard at right tackle for the Texans.
Howard, 23, was the No. 23 overall pick by the Texans out of Alabama State. He signed a four-year, $12,225,554 rookie contract that included a $6,911,312 signing bonus.
The Texans will have a fifth-year option to pick up on Howard in 2022.
In 2019, Howard has appeared in four games for the Texans.
Weโll have more regarding Howard as the news is available.
