Houston Texans left tackle Duane Brown had a procedure performed Wednesday morning to shave down a bone spur in his ankle, head coach Gary Kubiak told the media.
Kubiak states that the worst case scenario would mean Brown misses a month, which shouldn’t interfere when the team breaks for Training Camp in late July.
The bone spur has reportedly been bothering him for some time and this operation was done just to clean up his ankle before the offseason’s activities really get underway.
Brown has been a sturdy and reliable asset for the Texans, having missed only five games in his five year career.
