The Houston Texans officially promoted RB C.J. Prosise to their active roster on Saturday for Sunday’s game.
Prosise, 26, is a former third-round pick by the Seahawks out of Notre Dame in the 2016 NFL Draft. He finished out his four-year, $3.11 million rookie contract and was testing the open market for the first time in his NFL career before he signed on to the Texans’ practice squad last week.
In 2019, Prosise appeared in eight games and rushed for 58 yards on 19 carries (3.1 YPC) to go along with 10 receptions for 76 yards receiving and one total touchdown.
