Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that the Texans are re-signing LB Gimel President to a contract on Sunday.
President will take the roster spot of RB D’Onta Foreman, who is being waived today.
President, 26, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois back in 2017. He was on and off of the Texans’ roster before eventually being waived and later claimed by the Titans last year.
President end up on Tennessee’s injured reserve list before eventually being waived with a settlement. The Titans brought him back on a futures contract only to cut him loose earlier in the week.
