Texans Re-Sign RB C.J. Prosise To PS, Release TE Troy Fumagalli

The Houston Texans announced Tuesday that they’ve signed RB C.J. Prosise to their practice squad and released TE Troy Fumagalli from the unit. C.J. Prosise

Here’s the Texans updated practice squad:

  4. WR Chad Hansen
  5. C Greg Mancz
  6. WR Steven Mitchell
  7. T Elijah Nkansah
  8. RB Scottie Philips
  9. TE Pharaoh Brown
  10. G Cordel Iwuagwu
  11. WR Devin Smith
  12. DT Corey Liuget
  13. LB Emmanuel Ellerbee
  14. K Brett Maher
  15. WR Damion Ratley
  16. RB C.J. Prosise

 

 

Prosise, 26, is a former third-round pick by the Seahawks out of Notre Dame in the 2016 NFL Draft. He finished out his four-year, $3.11 million rookie contract and was testing the open market for the first time in his NFL career before he signed on to the Texans’ practice squad.

Prosise has been on and off of the Texans’ roster this season. 

In 2020, Prosise has appeared in six games for the Texans and rushed for one yard on one carry.
