The Houston Texans have re-signed TE Jerell Adams to their practice squad and released OLB Wyatt Ray from the unit on Thursday.

Here’s the Texans updated practice squad:

  1. OT Rick Leonard
  2. WR Steven Mitchell Jr
  3. RB Karon Higdon Jr
  4. DL Albert Huggins
  5. S Chris Johnson
  6. DB Cornell Armstrong
  7. WR Chad Hansen
  8. DB Jonathan Owens
  9. T Elijah Nkansah
  10. TE Jerell Adams

Adams, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Giants back in 2016. He spent two years in New York before he was waived coming out of the preseason last year.

The Texans later signed Adams to their practice squad before bringing him back on a futures contract this past January.  Houston waived him earlier in the week.

In 2017, Adam appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and caught eight passes for 92 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
