The Houston Texans announced Tuesday that they’ve signed ILB Tyrell Adams and WR Cyril Grayson to their practice squad and released CB Breon Borders from the unit.
The Texans’ practice squad now consists of:
- OLB Davin Bellamy
- CB Andre Chachere
- C/G Kyle Fuller
- TE Matt Lengel
- G/T Chad Slade
- WR Jester Weah (Injured)
- S Mike Tyson
- WR Isaac Whitney
- WR Malachi Dupre
- WR Cyril Grayson
- LB Tyrell Adams
Adams, 26, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of West Georgia back in May of 2015. He had brief stints with the Chiefs, Raiders and Bills before signing a futures contract with the Colts this past February.
The Colts waived Adams with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and eventually cut him with an injury settlement soon after.
In 2017, Adams appeared in six games for the Raiders and recorded 18 tackles and no sacks or interceptions.
