John McClain of the Houston Chronicleย reports that the Texans have signedย S Quintin Demps andย DE Fili Moala to contracts on Wednesday.
Demps, 30, is a former fourth round pick of the Eagles back in 2008. He spent just over two years in Philadelphia before he was cut ast the start of the 2010 season and later signed on with the Texans. Since then, Demps has played for the Chiefs and most recently with the Giants last year.
In 2014, Demps appeared in all 16 games and recorded 57 tackles, four interceptions, a forced fumble, and seven pass defenses.
Moala, 30, is a former second-round pick of the Colts back in 2009. He played out his rookie contract with the team and had signed one-year deals in back-to-back years before finding a limited market this offseason.
This probably has something to do with the ACL injury he sustained back in June of last year, which forced him to miss the entire 2014 season.
