Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Texans are signing CB Briean Boddy-Calhoun to a one-year contract.
Boddy-Calhoun, 26, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Minnesota back in 2016. He was waived a few months later and claimed off of waivers by the Browns.
Cleveland declined to tender Boddy-Calhoun a restricted contract, which allowed him to become an unrestricted free agent.
In 2018, Boddy-Calhoun appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and recorded 56 tackles, no interceptions, a forced fumble and two pass defenses.
We had him featured in our Top 100 Available Free Agents list.
