The Houston Texans announced that they are re-signing free agent OT Jeff Adams to their practice squad.
Adams, 27, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Columbia back in 2012. After brief stints with the Bengals and Dolphins, Adams signed on with the Titans at the start of the 2013 season.
Tennessee placed on waivers a year later and was claimed by the Texans. Houston re-signed Adams to a contract extension this past March but cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
The Texans later brought Adams back to join their practice squad in October but ended up waiving him earlier this week to make room for TE RaShaun Allen.
In 2015, Adams appeared in two games for the Texans.
