The Houston Texans brought in nine free agents for tryouts on Friday, according to Aaron Wilson.
The full list of players in attendance for the session includes:

- TE Larry Donnell
- TE Gavin Escobar
- TE David Johnson
- TE MyCole Pruitt
- WR Cobi Hamilton
- WR Jordan Leslie
- OT Jah Reid
- QB Garrettย Grayson
Barnidge, 31, is a former fifth-round pick of the Panthers back in 2008. He spent five years in Carolina before signing a three-year contract with the Browns.
The Browns somewhat surprisingly cut Barnidge loose a few months ago after they traded up in round one to getย Miami TE David Njoku.
In 2016, Barnidge appeared in all 16 games and caught 55 passes for 612 yards receiving and two touchdowns.ย Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 25 tight end out of 63 qualifying players.
Hamilton, 26, is a former sixth-round pick of the Bengals back 2013. He was, unfortunately, unable to make the team coming out of the preseason during his rookie seasonย but was later signed to the teamโs practice squad.
Hamilton had brief stints with the Eagles, Bengals, Dolphins and Panthers before he was signed by the Steelers last year. before being cut and later added to their practice squad at the start of the regular season.
Pittsburgh cut him loose at the start of the regular season and later added to their practice squad at the start of the regular season. However, the Steelers promoted Hamilton to their active roster and later brought him back on a one-year contract this past January before cutting loose last weekend.
In 2016, Hamilton appeared in 11 games for the Steelers and recorded 17 receptions for 234 receiving yards and two touchdowns. He also accumulated 83 yards as a kickoff return specialist. Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 79 overall wide receiver out of 115 qualifying players.
Donnell, 28, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Grambling State back in 2012.ย The Giants elected to bring Donnell back on a one-year,ย $1,671,000 restricted tender last year.
The Ravens signed Donnell to a contract this past July only to cut him loose coming out of the preseason.
In 2016, Donnell appeared in 14 games for the Giants and caught 15 passes for 92 yards receiving and one touchdown.ย Pro Football Focus has himย down for playing 227 total snaps last year to go along with a below-average rating.
