According to Howard Balzer, the Houston Texans brought in three cornerbacks for tryouts on Thursday including Jeremy Clark, Rodney Randle, and D.J. White.
Clark, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Jets back in 2017. He lasted just over a year in New York before he was waived at the start of last season.
The Jets later re-signed Clark to their practice squad and brought him back on an exclusive rights contract. However, he was waived with an injury settlement coming out of the preseason.
For his career, Clark has been active for two games, but has yet to record a statistic.
White, 25, is a former sixth-round pick of the Chiefs back in 2016. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2.52 million contract when the Chiefs waived him during the 2017 season.
White wound up being claimed off of waivers by the Colts, but was once again cut loose at the start of the 2018 season. He had a brief stint on the Colts’ practice squad before eventually signing on with the Chiefs in August.
Unfortunately, White was waived coming out of the preseason.
For his career, White has appeared in 13 games for the Colts and Chiefs and recorded 14 tackles, one interception and three pass defenses.
