According to Howard Balzer, the Texans brought in free agent WR Rashad Greene for a tryout on Thursday.
Aaron Wilson confirms the news and adds that while the tryout went well, no deal imminent between the Texans and Greene at this time.
Greene, 26, is a former fifth-round pick of the Jaguars back in 2015. He was in the final year of his four-year, $2.523 million contract and set to make a base salary of $705,000 for the 2018 season when the Jaguars waived him a few weeks into the regular season.
Greene has been on and off of the Jaguars’ roster last year.
In 2018, Greene appeared in eight games and caught six passes for 60 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
