The Houston Texans are waiving backup QB Josh Johnson on Tuesday, according to his agent.
Josh Johnson who was just released from @HoustonTexans will be a great asset for a team down the stretch.

Johnson, 31, is a former fifth-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2012. Since then, Johnson has played for a number of teams including the 49ers, Browns, Bengals, Chargers, Jets, Colts and most recently for the Bills.
The Ravens signed him to a contract back in May of last year before cutting him loose coming out of the preseason. Johnson later caught on with the Giants but was once again released at the start of the regular season.
Johnson just signed on with the Texans a few weeks ago.
Johnson hasn’t appeared in an NFL game since the 2013 season while playing for the Bengals.
