The Texans watched last weekend as WR Andre Johnson fell to the turf holding him hamstring on a deep route. Johnson has missed a good portion of the season with a hamstring injury and this one looked to be as bad as the injury he suffered early on. Thankfully for Houston the injury isn’t as bad as feared.
“We’re very fortunate,” ย said Texans head coach Gary Kubiak, viaย HoustonTexans.com. “I’ll tell you today he’s day-to-day. I probably can give you a better answer once we give him a couple days here and get to Wednesday, but we do expect him back, and hopefully sooner than later. To answer today, we feel very fortunate.”
Even if Johnson ends up missing this weekends game it would still be good news as the team will need to have all of the star players available on offense as they head into the postseason.
