Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports that Texas A&M TE Jace Sternberger is scheduled to visit, meet with or workout for 12 teams leading up to this year’s draft.
Wilson says Sternberger has visits lined up with the Texans, Chiefs, Packers, Patriots,
Lions, Cowboys, Vikings and Seahawks.
Sternberger reportedly has or will work out for the Cardinals, Bengals and Cowboys and will meet with the Saints and Raiders.
According to Wilson, the Texans, Patriots, Chiefs and Packers met Sternberger at the Combine among others.
Sternberger should be an interesting mid-round tight end to watch. He actually began his college career at Kansas before transferring to Texas A&M for the 2018 season.
For his career, Sternberger caught 49 passes for 837 yards receiving and 10 touchdowns over the course of 15 games. He was a Consensus All-America in 2018.
